30 weeks and 30 pounds
Yep, that's right. I'm now 30 pounds heavier - stepping on the scale and seeing 140 was a bit of a shocker but I console myself in knowing that it's a good sign that baby is doing well and my body is doing what it should. The baby is still kicking and rolling away, but with increased strength and detail. Baby gets at least one "ouch" a day out of me for a painful kick to the ribs or side. Oh, and yes I have a "half outtie" now - just the top half is poking out like a tiny shelf.
I have less than a month left of work with MB Schizophrenia Society and am looking forward to 6 weeks off before my due date!!! I'm sure to find more than enough things to fill my time with - getting the nursery ready, organizing our closets, reading some good fiction, lunches with friends, shopping, napping...pretty tough stuff, huh?
I have to clarify that the above shot was taken with a wide-angle lens. My belly really isn't the size of four adult heads. Cory wants me to let it be; let the photo speak for itself. But I'm against the misrepresentation of my body size (...well, only when it looks bigger than in reality!).
No wide angle here!

It's still one healthy sized belly you have there Steph. Oh, and I really do feel sorry for you, that sounds like a rough six weeks. Calm before the storm, I suppose.
Ah, Steph, you look so great!
Man, I miss you. I totally wanna see you sometime.
Hope you had a GREAT Christmas/New Year's.
